ScanSource Communications Named Polycom Global Distributor Of The Year

ScanSource Communications, a leading value-added distributor of communications products and a sales unit of ScanSource Inc., [Nasdaq: SCSC], today announced it has been named Global Distributor of the Year and North America Distributor of the Year by Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM), the global leader in open standards-based unified communications (UC). ScanSource Communications received the awards at TEAM Polycom 2012, the company’s annual sales and partner conference, held April 1-3 in Orlando, Fla.

ScanSource Communications was honored for its excellence in selling and supporting Polycom’s solutions on a global level, as well as in North America. The annual TEAM Polycom Partner Awards showcase partners who exhibited outstanding sales performance in 2011 in each of the major partner categories and for excellence in innovation, industry focus, customer services, and integration.
