Cbeyond First To Simplify Cloud Transition With Launch Of Remote Migration Service

Cbeyond (NASDAQ: CBEY), a leading provider of IT and communications services to small and medium sized businesses, today announced the availability of its new, industry-first Remote Migration Service, which guides businesses through a successful migration to a cloud server. Launching live from Channel Partners Expo in Las Vegas, Cbeyond’s latest offering provides the expert technical assistance necessary for businesses to quickly and securely transition data and applications to the cloud without interrupting workflow.

Through the Remote Migration Service, Cbeyond provides end-to-end instruction to ensure a seamless migration, typically completed within a week of initial information exchange. After determining each customer’s specific needs, Cbeyond will establish administrative control, file-sharing and remote connectivity capabilities for on-premise and remote users of the Cbeyond Cloud Server. In the process, Cbeyond’s migration specialists copy data from on-premise computers and move it to the server without removing any information.

While the Remote Migration Service is a one time only program available at point of sale, Cbeyond’s team is available following conversion to help new users maneuver the infrastructure and maintain uninterrupted operations. Cbeyond monitors the new server’s efficiency 24 hours a day, seven days a week and provides ongoing operating system and security upgrades including patches, nightly backups, antivirus and intrusion protection.
