Korona S.A., One Of The Largest Candle Manufacturers In Europe, Has Upgraded To The Latest Version Of QAD Enterprise Applications To Support The Company's Expanding Manufacturing Needs.

QAD Inc. (NASDAQ: QADA) (NASDAQ: QADB), a leading provider of enterprise software and services for global manufacturing companies, today announced Korona S.A., one of the largest candle manufacturers in Europe, has upgraded to the latest version of QAD Enterprise Applications to support the company’s expanding manufacturing needs.

Korona S.A., based in Wieluń, Poland, produces approximately nine million candles per day, which are resold with private labels by global retailers, including Tesco, Wal-Mart, and IKEA. Korona S.A.’s market share continues to grow in part due to the company’s focus on high quality, original designs, and exceptional customer service.

Korona S.A. has used QAD solutions since 2001. In 2011, in response to growing demand and a need for greater manufacturing output, Korona S.A. upgraded to the latest version of QAD Enterprise Applications, and implemented QAD Warehousing and the QAD .NET User Interface ( UI). QAD Enterprise Applications supports Korona S.A.’s sales, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, and finance operations.

The use of radio frequency (RF) scanner devices for inventory management also supports the company’s extensive eco-based practices with a paperless workflow.
