PathScale Inc. Acquires All PathScale Intellectual Property And Assets From Cray

WILMINGTON, Del., March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Global leader in compiler technology PathScale Inc. today announced it has acquired the PathScale assets from Cray Inc. (Nasdaq: CRAY). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

PathScale plans to continue developing the EKOPath Compiler Suite, provide support for all users of the software and launch new products.  The company will continue to contribute parts of the PathScale software to the open source community and will work towards building a strong community of developers, researchers and users.
