Nordson EFD Wins 2012 Service Excellence Award

Nordson EFD (Nasdaq: NDSN) has won Circuits Assembly magazine’s Service Excellence Award for the 4th year in a row. This is the 8th time in the last 9 years the company has received the prestigious award, which was presented during the recent IPC Apex Expo 2012 in San Diego, California.

This year, Nordson EFD competed in the “Solder Materials Supplier” category. “We are honored to have our customers once again acknowledge us as their preferred solder paste supplier,” according to Jeff Pembroke, President of Nordson EFD, “and we will continue our ongoing efforts to provide them with exceptional products and service.”

The Service Excellence Awards were developed to honor companies that excel in the crucial area of customer service. Now in its 20th year, the program gives participants the opportunity to learn how they compare to their peers with regard to customer satisfaction.

Responses are solicited from customers who are asked to rank their suppliers in several categories, including Delivery, Quality, Responsiveness, Technology and Value for the Price. Customer input is calculated by an independent tabulator, and the competitors ranked accordingly. Comments released after this year’s awards ceremony ranged from “Nordson EFD solder pastes perform consistently well” to “Very good technical support” to “We always get a prompt response to our requests.”
