40 Future Innovators Head To Washington, D.C. To Compete For $630,000 In Prestigious Intel Science Talent Search

| WHAT: | Forty high school seniors that are poised to be the nation’s next scientific leaders will be in Washington, D.C. from March 8-13 to compete for more than $630,000 in the Intel Science Talent Search, a program of Society for Science & the Public. | ||

| Media are invited to attend the ceremony where all finalists will be honored and the top 10 winners will be announced, including for the top award of $100,000. Finalists will be available for in-person or phone interviews after 9 p.m. | |||
| WHO: | All 40 Intel Science Talent Search 2012 finalists. Of note, over the past 70 years Science Talent Search alumni have gone on to win seven Nobel Prizes, two Fields Medals, three National Medals of Science, 11 MacArthur Foundation Fellowships and even an Academy Award for Best Actress. | ||
