ADTRAN’s Ted Cole Named CRN Channel Chief For Sixth Consecutive Year

ADTRAN®, Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN), a leading provider of next-generation networking solutions, today announced Ted Cole, ADTRAN’s vice president of channel sales, has been named one of CRN’s 2012 Channel Chiefs. This prestigious list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.

At ADTRAN, Cole directs the company’s channel strategy, growing partnerships and sales to strengthen the company’s value-added reseller and distribution channels. In 2011 alone, Cole led several initiatives that increased productivity for the top tiers in ADTRAN’s channel partner community more than 24%. Programs included the reorganization of distributor teams that resulted in broader partner support and better enabled ADTRAN to focus on partners’ unique business needs and models. In addition, Cole oversaw the launch of a comprehensive Partner Enablement Program that provides a robust set of tools to prepare new partners for success and re-energize those that may be underperforming.
