Ford is next-generation vehicle of choice for law enforcement
The city of
will buy 500 Ford Police Interceptors, the largest commitment to date for the all-new sedans and utility vehicles. The Police Interceptor started production at the company's Chicago Assembly Plant last month, adding 230 jobs at the facility with additional manufacturing and support jobs expected.
Ford Focus sales are hot
Ford Focus sales are on pace to double in February, giving the car its best sales performance in more than a decade. Customer demand for the Focus Titanium with five-speed manual pushed Ford to offer that trim package and transmission as a new combination, with demand for the five-speed running much higher than expected.
