NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Liberty Global (Nasdaq:LBTYA) hit a new 52-week high Wednesday as it is currently trading at $50.11, above its previous 52-week high of $50.08 with 731,362 shares traded as of 2:55 p.m. ET. Average volume has been 1.2 million shares over the past 30 days.

Liberty Global has a market cap of $6.55 billion and is part of the services sector and media industry. Shares are up 20.7% year to date as of the close of trading on Tuesday.

Liberty Global, Inc. provides video, broadband Internet, and telephony services primarily in Europe, Chile, and Australia.
