Industry-Leading M2M Application Framework From Sierra Wireless Accelerates Solutions For 3G Networks

Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR) (TSX: SW) today announced that transitioning embedded M2M solutions from 2G to 3G networks is now both easier and smoother, thanks to the availability of the Open AT® Application Framework on a 3G version of the AirPrime™ SL Series, the SL808x embedded wireless module. For the first time, customers can build M2M application software once and deploy it in any market worldwide, or seamlessly migrate from 2G to 3G.
