Radisys Solutions Help Accelerate Deployments Of Mavenir Systems’ Carrier-Grade Mobile Cloud Platform

Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ:RSYS), a leading provider of embedded wireless infrastructure solutions, today announced the successful deployments of an LTE services core network by Mavenir Systems using Radisys’ AdvancedTCA (ATCA) platforms, Trillium® software and IP Media Server . The Radisys platforms are an integral component of the Mavenir mOne ^™ Convergence Platform, a carrier-grade LTE and mobile cloud infrastructure, already being used by multiple carriers around the world.

Mobile operators and service providers are developing their own cloud-based services as they seek to generate new revenue streams, lower capital costs and compete with over-the-top (OTT) players. Leveraging embedded ATCA solutions from Radisys, the Mavenir mOne™ Convergence Platform enables real-time, session-based mobile cloud services such as Voice and Video over LTE (VoLTE), Rich Communication Suite (RCS) and Converged IP Messaging (CPM). The common platform offers significant cost efficiencies to operators as they deploy new communication services in their own private cloud environments.
