GDS International Pushes The Envelope Of Telecoms Business Progression In Latin America With Its Next Generation Telecoms Summit In March
BRISTOL, England, February 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
The 20-22 March will play witness to the next in an assertive line of Next Generation Telecoms Latin America Summits (NGT LA), hosted by GDS International at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida. A 60-strong consortium of senior executives - from VPs and Directors to C-suite group executives - from the region's most progressive and leading enterprises will make up the Summit's delegation, while the Summit itself promises to be 2012's most valuable event for senior Telecoms players in the Latin American region. Top C-level executives will be present to discuss cutting-edge business topics, spanning the gamut of challenges facing telecoms leaders in the Latin American sphere today - from enterprise mobility to data and infrastructural expansions to name but a few. The Summit combines high-level roundtable discussions with next generation technology solutions that, together with Felippe Velloso, the VP of Strategic Accounts for Latin America and Summit Director for NGT LA, have been championed by the Summit's exclusive analyst partners, IDC. Included within the senior executive delegation are Pablo Gilardoni, CIO for Cablevision; Embratel's COO, Antonio Carlos Marteleto; Silvio Soriano, Chief Consulting Officer for Telmex; TIM Brasil's CTO, Cicero Olivieri; and Luiz Alberto Garcia, Chairman of Algar Telecom ( Brazil). Xavier Aguirre, Regional Director at Comverse, who attended last year's NGT LA event at the Intercontinental in Rio, had this to say: "[Last Year's event produced] Extremely productive meetings and the format was perfect…we have been trying for almost a year to get the level of meetings we had. By being part of this summit, we were able to have the meetings we were looking for without a doubt." The event has been designed specifically for forward-thinking Telecoms executives in the Latin American arena, drawing on experience and discussing the challenges facing the region. The NGT LA Summit will offer comprehensive workshops, panel discussions on major industry issues and one-to-one meetings to give delegates the opportunity to meet with business analysts and solution providers to discuss strategy and technology demands in a rapidly evolving business climate.TheStreet Premium Services
