TAT Technologies Reports The Approval Of Share Repurchase Plan

TAT Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: TATT - News, hereinafter:  TAT/the Company), a leading provider of services and products to the commercial and military aerospace and ground defense industries, reported that the board of directors of TAT approved today a shares repurchase plan (the " Plan"), pursuant to which the Company may purchase its ordinary shares, par value NIS 0.9 each (the " Shares"), in the aggregate amount of up to one million U.S. Dollars (US$1,000,000). The term of the Plan will commence following the publication of the Company's financial results for the first quarter of 2012 (the " Effective Date"). Any such purchases of Shares under the Plan may be made from time to time subject to the limitations of Rule 10b-18 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, until the first anniversary of the Effective Date. The timing and the terms of any purchase of Shares under the Plan (including the amount of Shares and the purchase price) will be determined by the Company, at its sole discretion, based on the management's evaluations regarding the market conditions and the profitability of any such purchase, and subject to applicable law. The Company will fund the purchase of Shares under the Plan from its own resources.

TAT's activities in the area of MRO services for Aviation Components include the maintenance, repair and overhaul of APUs, Landing Gear and other aircraft components. TAT's Piedmont subsidiary operates an FAA certified repair station, which provides aircraft component MRO services for airlines, air cargo carriers, maintenance service centers and the military.

TAT also holds approximately 30.3% of the equity of First Aviation Services, a world-wide distributor of products and services to the aerospace industry and a one-stop-shop for MRO services (wheels, breaks, propellers and landing gear) for the General Aviation Industry.
