CUPERTINO, Calif. (TheStreet) -- Apple(AAPL) CEO Tim Cook will take the stage at the Goldman Sachs(GS) Technology and Internet conference in San Francisco today, with investors eager to hear his plans for the consumer-tech giant.

From a possible dividend or buyback to labor issues at the company's Chinese supplier network and hints about future products such as the rumored Apple TV, there's plenty for Cook to talk about.

Tim Cook, Apple's CEO

Apple's product plans are a closely guarded secret, although there has been plenty of chatter about a potential dividend in recent months. The iPhone maker stopped paying dividends in 1995, but there has recently been clamor for the company to re-institute the payment.

The company is "actively discussing uses of its cash balance," noted CFO Peter Oppenheimer, during Apple's recent first-quarter conference call, but said that the tech giant had nothing to announce.

Cook said last year that he was "not religious" about holding Apple's cash, which kicked off speculation that a dividend or share buyback could materialize.
