WilsonHCG Joins Forces With Dr. Drew's Lifechangers

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Wilson Human Capital Group (WilsonHCG), a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and human capital consulting firm linked up with Dr. Drew's Lifechangers and began a three-month journey to try and help their out of work viewers by creating an initiative we call, "Putting America Back to Work." With the unemployment rate looming near 9% last year, the Dr. Drew's Lifechangers wanted to pursue what they were created to do, change lives. Dr. Drew's Lifechangers partnered with LinkedIn, WilsonHCG and other great companies to find candidates that they could put back into the workforce.

With the current economy and fierce competition for jobs it can be difficult for job seekers to be given an opportunity to prove themselves and show what they have to offer. "So many people have been disenchanted with the process of getting a job, so this was a wonderful opportunity for job seekers to understand that employers are hiring. Getting in front of an employer and showing them what you have to offer can make a big difference," John Wilson, CEO of WilsonHCG said.

Ten thousand resumes later, an intimate job fair was created that allowed company representatives to do face-to-face interviews with hundreds of hand-picked job seekers. The audience was filled with unemployed viewers who thought they were coming back for a final interview, and instead were offered a job. WilsonHCG is continuing to grow and is always looking for top talent, and the chance to help put America Back to Work was the perfect opportunity for them to do so.
