Apple iPad 3 Rumor Roundup

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Rumors about Apple's(AAPL) iPad 3 continued to fly this week. Here's what we know so far:

Apple plans to release the iPad 3 in March, according to AllThingsD

The iPad 3 design will be similar to that of the iPad 2, but its insides will be different, according to reports. The device is expected to have a faster chip, a better processor and a higher resolution.

The tablet may also feature Siri, the voice-controlled personal assistant.

After the launch of the iPad 3, Apple may follow later this year with a smaller, less expensive iPad with a 7-inch screen.
