In addition to the Platinum badges, which provide access to all three portions of SXSW — music, film, and interactive, the winner will also receive a 10-day hotel stay and $1,000 cash, which may be used for travel expenses. Hotels are sold out during interactive and film dates (March 9–13), so registering for a chance to win the Esurance Go Platinum Sweepstakes is one of the few ways to have a place to stay in downtown Austin during that time.

As the official car insurance sponsor of SXSW 2012, Esurance will have a presence at both the Trade Show and Auditorium Shores.
