Neiman Marcus Launches "NM @ SxSW" Street Style Photography Contest

 

DALLAS, Feb. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  Neiman Marcus announced today it is hosting an online challenge to find a street-style photographer that will attend SxSW as a correspondent for the Neiman Marcus blog, NMdaily.

The contest "NM @ SxSW" runs from February 9  – 17 and can be accessed through the Neiman Marcus Facebook page or on NMdaily.com. The winner will attend all Neiman Marcus SxSW events and the Music portion of the festival where they will be charged with capturing stylish photos that can be used on the Neiman Marcus social channels including the Neiman Marcus Facebook page, Twitter account, Tumblr and NMdaily.

Interested candidates should participate in the challenge by submitting the following on the SxSW Street Style tab on the Neiman Marcus Facebook page:

  • Examples of their photography
  • General bio and information about themselves including Blog URL and Twitter profiles
  • Response to inquiries about their favorite designers, bands, etc.
  • A photo of themselves
  • Contact information

A winner will be selected by a panel of judges at Neiman Marcus and announced on Monday, February 20. Entries will be judged by their creativity and by how well they align with the ideals of the Neiman Marcus social profiles. Only one entry will be accepted per Facebook user.
