Hair Fairies Brings Jobs And Successful Results To Fairfield

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hair Fairies, a national network of full-service clinical lice removal salons, announced today that its newest salon will open on March 1 in Fairfield, Connecticut.  Founded in 1999, Hair Fairies has treated more than 500,000 clients successfully, and currently employs more than 50 full and part-time trained specialists at its established salons in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. The new lice removal salon in Fairfield will likely add ten new specialists to the Hair Fairies team.

"Our growth is due to one thing and that is having satisfied clients," says CEO Maria Botham.  "We are a word-of-mouth business and being known as the safe lice treatment solution for frantic families is what brings new customers into our salons. Hair Fairies evaluates, treats and eliminates head lice with a 100 percent guarantee of success. Our clients know that firsthand and want to let their friends and families find the same relief."

The Fairfield Hair Fairies salon will open March 1, 2012.  Located at 63 Unquowa Rd. in The Galleria, the new Connecticut lice salon will have ten new job opportunities with full benefits and a matching 401k plan.  The company fully trains its employees not only in technical services but also in customer service and professional demeanor.

"Like many small businesses, we've been sitting tight on expansion for the past couple of years," says Ms. Botham.  "But we see signs of new economic activity and our clients from Connecticut who now visit our Manhattan salon, are eager for us to open closer to their homes. This is a good time to match our services with consumer demand for natural lice treatment options."

"We had wasted time, money and patience on over-the-counter treatments that didn't work," said Patricia Caplan, San Francisco mother of two.  "The lice spread from my daughter to my son and me.  Hair Fairies dispelled the myths about lice, gave me a thorough education on how we would be treated and what to expect.  I'm so glad to get this behind us because I would feel so bad if they were the carriers of lice to other students in their classes."

The company's high success rate is due to its three-step natural lice treatment process that has proven effective for more than a decade.  First, specialists evaluate the stage of infestation, then they physically "nit-pick" the active lice and eggs from the head and, finally, they provide treatment to condition the scalp and discourage immediate re-infestation. This procedure is fully-based on scientific research and completed with all-natural, non-toxic shampoos, combs and rinses produced in the company's laboratory in Riverside, California.

"We have had great support for our company expansion from the management at The Galleria. These smaller markets are important for allowing us to reach more families in need of lice removal in locations that are convenient for them.  Most parents do not have the patience or training to eliminate head lice on their own and we make it an easy one-stop," said Ms. Botham.
