Move, Inc. Appoints Chief Technology Officer

CAMPBELL, Calif., Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Move, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOVE), the leader in online real estate, today announces the appointment of John Robison as chief technology officer, effective February 13, 2012.  He reports directly to Move, Inc. Chief Executive Officer Steve Berkowitz, and he will be based at Move's corporate headquarters in Campbell, California.

As chief technology officer, Robison assumes responsibility for the Company's entire technology organization including search platform and front end engineering.  He is also charged with setting Move's technology agenda, and leading all elements of the Company's strategic and tactical technology development.

Robison most recently served as vice president, DVD product development at Netflix, Inc., in Los Gatos, California.  While at Netflix, Robison set the technical direction, made critical design decisions and drove their internal architecture and infrastructure. Prior to joining Netflix, John held executive leadership positions at Graspr and SideStep, new pioneers of online product categories, where he rapidly expanded their technology. He has over 20 years of leadership experience at diverse companies including Yahoo!, Inc., where he made major contributions to the Internet's first personalized products.
