NEW YORK,
Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Matt Bonin is joining Ogilvy & Mather New York in the new role of Chief Production Officer, from TBWA\Chiat\Day where he was Executive Director of Integration.
"Matt has done in practice—and to wonderful effect—what many agencies are still attempting notionally. He knows how to pull all the levers of production, at all the right times, in the service of the idea," said
Steve Simpson, Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy & Mather North America. "Matt's arrival accelerates the work we have done at Ogilvy in working in a more fully, deeply integrated way and—beyond process--he will be central to our efforts to develop new kinds of content."
As Chief Production Officer, Matt will be responsible for unifying all creative production needs. Broadcast, print, digital, technology solutions, film and other creative channels will all work through Matt and an integrated production team.
"Reaching the consumer at all the touch points available is the ambition of all brands today," Bonin said. "We are now in a position to not only create unique forms of content but to create new kinds of channels where consumers can interact with brands. I'm looking forward to having the opportunity to do this with the world class brands in the Ogilvy portfolio."
Matt spent five years at Crispin, Porter + Bogusky from 2004-2009, helping to originate the integrated production model with work for such clients as Burger King, Volkswagen and Microsoft. He left CP+B to lead integrated production for Trailer Park, an agency-production company hybrid. Matt moved to the Production Company world as Executive Producer for film and digital production efforts for Tool of North America. He then joined TBWA\Chiat\Day last year and in his role as Executive Director of Integration oversaw innovation and integrated production efforts as well as digital production and digital development.
