MasterCard Board Of Directors Announces Increase In Quarterly Dividend

MasterCard Incorporated (NYSE: MA) today announced that its Board of Directors has increased the company’s quarterly cash dividend to 30 cents per share, an increase of 100 percent over the previous dividend level of 15 cents per share. The cash dividend will be paid on May 9, 2012, to holders of record of its Class A common stock and Class B common stock as of April 9, 2012.
“The increase in MasterCard’s dividend demonstrates the strength of our business as well as responsible stewardship of our capital,” said Ajay Banga, MasterCard president and chief executive officer. “We remain confident in the company’s ability to execute its plans to drive long-term business growth.” Additionally, the company announced that its annual meeting of stockholders will take place at its corporate headquarters on June 5, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. About MasterCard Incorporated MasterCard (NYSE: MA) is a global payments and technology company.
