Star Gold’s 1 To 6 Reverse Split Effective And The Company’s Shares Are Currently Trading Under The Symbol SRGZD.OB

Star Gold Corp. ("Star Gold" or the "Company") (OTC Markets: SRGZD) is pleased to announce that its 1:6 reverse split became effective on February 02, 2012. The Company’s shares of common stock are temporarily trading under the symbol SRGZD.OB. The symbol will revert back to SRGZ.OB twenty (20) days from the effective date.

Lindsay Gorrill, President of Star Gold, stated, “I am pleased that we have been able to make what the Company feels are positive changes to the capital structure of Star Gold. The Company is also currently in the process of analyzing results from our late 2011 drill program and we expect to release information on those results in the near future.”
