Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Names Edna Morris To Its Board Of Directors

Einstein Noah Restaurant Group (NASDAQ: BAGL), a leader in the quick-casual segment of the restaurant industry operating under the Einstein Bros.® Bagels, Noah's New York Bagels®, and Manhattan Bagel® brands, last week named Edna Morris to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Her appointment follows the Board’s decision to increase its composition from six to seven members.

Ms. Morris has over 30 years of business leadership within the restaurant industry, with a diverse background that includes public companies, start-ups, not-for-profit organizations and Board positions. Currently, Ms. Morris is one of the Managing Directors for Axum Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on education services and restaurants, where she leads the restaurant strategy practice. Additionally, she is Chief Executive Officer and a Partner in Range Restaurant Group, which owns and operates two CityRange restaurants in Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina. Ms. Morris also serves on the Board of Directors of Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO) as Chairman of the Compensation Committee and Member of the Governance Committee.

Previously, Ms. Morris served as President of Red Lobster and President of Quincy’s Family Steakhouse. She also led the development and opening of a chef driven, casual dining concept, CityRange, while at Advantica, the owner and operator of Quincy’s Family Steakhouse. In 2005, Ms. Morris was asked to serve as President of James Beard Foundation, a not-for-profit entity, where she was recognized for leading all aspects of the organization and restoring integrity, transparency, and appropriate governance. The first 15 years of Ms. Morris’ career were devoted to Human Resources.
