It must be a challenge to be a headline writer. I struggle with it myself on some days and Wednesday was no exception. The VIX is still above 20, if only barely, which doesn't square with the action. It's almost as if many have one hand on the exit door.
Thursday is the CPI, Housing Starts, Jobless Claims (383K consensus) and the Philly Fed Survey (10 consensus). In addition we'll have more earnings to digest.
Let's see what happens.
