TheStreet Ratings rates Skyworks Solutions as a buy. The company's strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures, impressive record of earnings per share growth, compelling growth in net income and attractive valuation levels. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had lackluster performance in the stock itself.

On the negative front, New Energy Systems Group (NEWN), down 18%, Enova Systems (ENA), down 13.5%, Daqo New Energy (DQ), down 10.1%, and Applied Energetics (AERG), down 8.9%, were all losers within the electronics industry with Texas Instruments (TXN) being today's electronics industry loser.

For investors not wanting singular stock exposure, ETFs may be of interest. Investors who are bullish on the electronics industry could consider iShares Dow Jones US Technology (IYW) while those bearish on the electronics industry could consider ProShares Ultra Short Semiconductor (SSG).
