Wolf Haldenstein Announces Investigation Of Vulcan Materials Company

On the same day Martin Marietta commenced an action in the Delaware Court of Chancery seeking a declaration that the non-disclosure agreement entered into by the two companies on May 3, 2010, does not prohibit: (i) Martin Marietta’s public offer to purchase all issued and outstanding shares of Vulcan common stock in exchange for Martin Marietta’s common stock; and (ii) Martin Marietta’s proposal to Vulcan stockholders to vote for the election of Martin Marietta’s five independent nominees to Vulcan’s board of directors.
