FINDLAY, Ohio ( TheStreet) -- Cooper Tire & Rubber and United Steelworkers will resume talks on Tuesday, with a federal mediator attending, according to published media reports.
The mediator scheduled the meeting, United Steelworkers Local 207L President Rod Nelson said Friday, according to The Courier of Findlay, Ohio, where Cooper Tire is based.
The company locked out 1,050 unionized workers from its Findlay plant on Nov. 28, one day after union members voted against a tentative three-year contract. The company then brought in temporary workers.
