Apple Readies Spaceship-Like Campus

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Apple(AAPL) on Wednesday submitted new plans and renderings for its proposed spaceship-like corporate campus in Cupertino, Calif.
The new campus, initially proposed by Apple founder Steve Jobs in June, will supplement its current headquarters at 1 Infinite Loop which is located across town. Made of curved glass, the 2.8 million square-foot space will be four floors and will house 13,000 employees. The landscape also will be covered by more than 6,000 trees. |
