Kontagent Hires Google Docs Platform Lead To Spearhead Analytics Product Development

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kontagent, the leading enterprise user analytics company, is proud to announce that Evin Levey will be joining the company as Vice President of Product. In his new role, Levey will be leading Kontagent's product management efforts, helping to define a vision and process for adding even more sophisticated functionality to the Kontagent kSuite platform.

Levey comes to Kontagent from Google, Inc. He joined the Internet search company in 2007, where he worked on internal analytics, user privacy and search infrastructure. Over the past two years, Levey led the product development of Google Docs and Google Apps Script.

"We are very pleased to welcome Evin to the Kontagent team," said CEO and Co-founder Jeff Tseng. "As social and mobile applications evolve, we know Kontagent will play a major role in helping our customers run more scalable and profitable enterprises. Evin and his team will be instrumental in determining how our products help our customers stay competitive in this fast-changing environment."

"This is a very exciting time for social and mobile businesses, and I am extremely excited to join Kontagent," said Levey. "Google Docs is a billion-dollar-a-year business, and I look forward to bringing my experience in helping to scale Kontagent to the same magnitude. Just like Google pioneered the Web search space years ago, I believe that Kontagent is pioneering the way for businesses today to consume and act on their customer data."

Levey earned a bachelor's degree in computer engineering and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Dublin. His graduate research laid the groundwork for Havok, the premier provider in interactive software and services for digital media creators in the games and entertainment industries. Havok was acquired by Intel in 2007.
