Gerard J. Arpey is joining the firm as a Partner effective
December 1, 2011. In his new role, Mr. Arpey will lead the firm along with Emerald Creek Group founder,
Mr. Arpey joins Emerald Creek Group from AMR Corporation where he served as Chairman and CEO. At AMR he oversaw a global organization that included American Airlines, American Eagle and American Connection serving approximately 250 cities in 40 countries and territories around the world.

Mr. Arpey joined American Airlines in 1982 as a financial analyst and became a corporate officer of American in 1989. He has held a wide variety of roles at AMR and American Airlines including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He became Chief Executive Officer of AMR and American Airlines in 2003.
