ABILENE, Texas, Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- First Financial Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIN) today announced plans to activate its existing stock repurchase plan to repurchase up to 750,000 shares of its common stock, which represents approximately 2.4 percent of the Company's outstanding shares, through September 30, 2014. Under the repurchase plan, there is no minimum number of shares that the Company is required to repurchase.
"First Financial continues to have one of the strongest capital positions in the banking industry and based on our current stock price, we believe our stock is an excellent investment and it is in the best interest of shareholders to be ready to repurchase a portion of our shares at the right stock price," said F.
