Monarch Financial Holdings Declares Cash Dividend On Common Stock

CHESAPEAKE, Va., Oct. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- (Nasdaq: MNRK) The Board of Directors of Monarch Financial Holdings, Inc. announced an $0.08 per share cash dividend on Monarch's common stock at their October 19th meeting . Shareholders of record on November 10, 2011 will be paid their dividend on November 30, 2011.

"Monarch continues to deliver outstanding financial performance and we just announced a record quarter for net income in the third quarter of over $2.1 million. The annual dividends paid in 2011 of $0.16 per share represent an increase of 14% over the cash dividends paid the previous year," stated Brad E. Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer. "We plan to begin paying dividends on a regular quarterly basis in early 2012, based on earnings performance and capital levels."
