Eddy’s Number Party!
the first iPad app within its KinderSpark™ series for children aged 3-6 years old. KinderSpark is a collection of fun and engaging games designed by education professionals and leading scientists to help young learners build kindergarten readiness skills and lay the foundation to excel in learning.
“The iPad has revolutionized everyday life for all age groups, but there is particular significance for young children and how they interact with technology to learn. The KinderSpark series combines research on how the brain learns, years of educational experience and the best attributes of this technology to achieve a high level of engagement, an intuitive and rewarding user experience, and learning results,” said Andy Myers, CEO of Scientific Learning. “We are excited to create new games based on our scientifically proven methodologies and in collaboration with a talented network of research partners. We look forward to growing this network and creating more content in the future.”
Eddy’s Number Party! helps preschool and kindergarten aged children improve attention, working memory, and math skills like counting and matching numbers. Kids bring Eddy’s friends to the biggest dog party ever, earning fun, “talking” stickers as they master important foundational concepts. Skills are developed through adaptive learning activities such as collecting balloons, tossing presents, and tracking party hats. Grown-Up Central gives parents a tour of all game levels, access to child’s “report card” showing progress, and information about
the research behind the games
The Eddy’s Number Party! game is $2.99 (USD) and is
available worldwide through the App Store
in the Education Games category.
