After receiving the award to finance and construct an 18.5 megawatt solar power project for the island of Roatan, Honduras, via Letter of Intent with BPRE, ONYX Service and Solutions has just received the first executed Request for Change Order for the project. BPRE executed the change order to increase the size of the project to approximately 22 megawatts, utilizing an advanced new high efficiency panel rated at 330 watts. The original project specs called for the use of a 280 watt panel. The LOI was the first agreement between the parties for the project construction and precedes a Definitive Agreement that is expected before December 7
of this year. The Definitive Agreement will detail all of the aspects of the project, to include schedule, costs and payments to ONYX, as well as panel and other equipment specifications.
