Aerojet's Huntsville Office Expansion Aligns Company For Future Growth
SACRAMENTO, Calif. and HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Sept. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, announced today the expansion of its Huntsville offices to provide its local customers with additional engineering expertise, business development and program management support.
A community leadership breakfast and ribbon cutting ceremony was held today to mark this event with several dignitaries and local leaders in attendance, including: Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle; County Commission Chairman Mike Gillespie; Madison Mayor Paul Finley and former Congressman Bud Cramer.
The expansion includes a move to new offices at 7047 Old Madison Pike and enables Aerojet to house up to 40 employees.
"This growth in Huntsville advances our local partnerships and enables us to better integrate with our team members," said Director of Huntsville Operations, Claude Baldwin. "We'll be able to not only better serve our DoD and NASA customers, but also the area's prime contractors, supply partners, universities and other community development programs."
