(NASDAQ:ERII), a leader in the design and development of energy recovery devices for desalination and other industrial processes, today introduced enhancements to its industry-leading PX Pressure Exchanger™ (PX™) technology for seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) systems, including a 97.2 percent efficiency guarantee. The introduction for the PX-Q300 underscores ERI’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that SWRO facilities are free from any costly, unplanned downtime and that their desalination processes use the best economic solution available.
The PX-Q300 device strengthens the efficiency and durability of previous ERI PX energy recovery devices, ensuring an industry-leading uptime of 99.8 percent and guaranteeing high efficiencies at no less than 97.2 percent. Additionally, all ERI PX devices are designed for a lifetime of more than 25 years, which when coupled with the PX devices’ market-leading uptime, saves customers millions of dollars through energy reductions and zero unplanned downtime.
The new PX-Q300 device also offers a new and improved feature with a decrease in sound levels to less than 81 decibels–for much quieter operations.
