Apple, Citigroup: New Targets, Estimates

NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- STOCK COMMENTS / EPS CHANGES

Apple (AAPL) estimates were boosted at Sterne Agee through 2012. Company should benefit from better component pricing, Sterne Agee said. Buy rating and $460 price target.

American Electric (AEP) price target was raised at UBS to $39. Court rules in company's favor in stranded cost true-up appeal, UBS said. Maintain Neutral rating.

Citigroup (C) was added to US 1 List at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. Stock appears inexpensive, based on its core earnings power, BofA/Merrill said. $53 price target.

Campbell Soup (CPB) estimates were lowered through 2012 at Citigroup. Decline of company's U.S. soup business is a major issue, Citi said. Maintain $36 price target and Hold rating.

Danaher (DHR) estimates were raised through 2012 at Citigroup. Beckman Deal provides immediate and long-term growth opportunities, Citigroup said. Maintain $64 price target and Buy rating.

Dover (DOV) estimates, price target were increased through 2013 at Goldman Sachs. Sound Solutions purchase should add to earnings, Goldman said. Buy rating and new $80 price target.

Joy Global (JOYG) estimates were raised through 2012 at Robert Baird. LeTourneau purchase should add to earnings, Baird said. Outperform rating and $114 price target.

New York Times (NYT) estimates were increased through 2012 at Citigroup. Risk/reward profile attractive, Citigroup said. Maintain $11.50 target price and Buy rating.

SM Energy (SM) numbers were raised at Jefferies. Shares now seen reaching $73. Estimates were also increased, as the company will likely boost guidance with its 2012 outlook, Jefferies said. Hold rating.

Time Warner (TWX) estimates were lowered through 2012 at BMO Capital. Green Lantern is not living up to Box Office expectations, BMO said. Outperform rating and $41 price target.
