The DRSX1333RL/16GB, first-to-market DDR3 low-power upgrades, propel the Sun Fire X4170 M2, X4270 M2 and Sun Blade X6270 M2 servers from 144GB up to 288GB—twice the total memory capacity available from Oracle.
The X4170 M2, X4270 M2 and X6270 M2 contain 18 memory slots for large memory capacity. The DRSX1333RL/16GB is DDR3-1333 speed with 1.35V operation for optimum power efficiency and speed. Extensive testing and validation in Dataram’s engineering lab have confirmed 100% compatibility including support for Oracle’s important extended ECC capabilities and RAS features. In addition, Dataram backs each upgrade with a lifetime warranty and free technical support.
The new 16GB upgrade extends Dataram’s family of memory upgrades for these servers featuring 4GB and 8GB capacities. At Dataram, testing and validation efforts are perpetual with even larger capacities in the works. Currently in test are 32GB upgrades which are planned to expand these systems up to 384GB total memory.
