GOSHEN, Ind., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lippert Components, Inc., a subsidiary of Drew Industries Incorporated (NYSE: DW), announced today the promotions of three key managers, each of whom has made valuable contributions to the growth and success of the Company.

Steve Jenkins, currently General Manager of Lippert Components' operation responsible for the production of RV axles, doors, slide-out mechanisms and accessories, has been promoted to Director of Manufacturing with responsibility for these products. "Steve has been with Lippert Components for 11 years," said Jason Lippert, Chairman and CEO of Lippert Components, "and has been responsible for the operation of several of our facilities over the years, including the 500,000 square foot facility with 600 employees, our largest, which he now manages. Steve has a great talent for developing outstanding management teams with the ability to continuously improve production processes and increase efficiencies, while at the same time focusing on quality. Steve has recently assumed responsibility for the manufacture of new products such as our 'Level-Up' levelers, in-wall slide-out mechanism and RV entry doors, which have quickly gained market share. Steve will also be involved in new product development."

Adam Clark, currently General Manager of Lippert Components' Indiana RV chassis operation, has been promoted to Director of Manufacturing, with responsibility for all of the Company's RV and manufactured housing chassis production in Indiana. "Chassis production is complex, and for the past 13 years Adam has been a driving force in enabling Lippert Components to become the leading chassis builder in the RV industry," said Jason Lippert. "Over the years, Adam has continually identified talented individuals and built a dedicated team, which now efficiently manages about 350,000 square feet of production capacity and more than 800 employees. Adam and his team enable us to consistently grow our market share by producing quality products on time and effectively serving the needs of our customers."

Scott Meiner, currently General Manager of Lippert Components' Indiana RV window operation, has been promoted to Vice President of Purchasing. "Scott has managed several of our operations over the past 14 years, including chassis and axle production, and most recently our largest window and tempering facilities, with more than 400,000 square feet of production capacity and 700 employees," said Scott Mereness, President of Lippert Components. "During his career with Lippert Components, Scott has been responsible for plant start-ups and other situations requiring exceptional talent and dedication. Scott has consistently demonstrated his ability to improve operating efficiency and raw material sourcing, and has shown his willingness to do whatever it takes to make the Company successful. This broad experience made Scott the perfect choice to head our purchasing effort, and leverage his experience to other facets of our business."

Mereness added, "The success of Lippert Components is the direct result our management team's laser focus on efficiently meeting the needs of our customers, and these three managers exemplify that approach. Of course, Steve, Adam and Scott could not have achieved their many successes without the hard work of the management teams they built, as well as the extraordinary support provided by Lippert Components outstanding IT, accounting and administrative teams. We could not be more pleased with the efforts of the whole Lippert team. These efforts are what make Lippert Components a respected leader in our industries."
