Now in its seventh year, the Night of Heroes Gala recognizes wounded military heroes and those within the medical community who provide the continuum of care from the battlefield to the home front.

Dr. Peake is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served in the U.S. Army for 38 years, including service as a general surgeon, cardiac surgeon, and commander of several organizations, culminating in his appointment as U.S. Army Surgeon General. Prior to joining CGI, Dr. Peake served as the Secretary of Veterans Affairs where he was the principal advocate for veterans in the U.S., responsible for a nationwide system of health care services, benefits programs, and national cemeteries for America's veterans and dependents. Currently, Dr. Peake leads strategy for CGI's cross-industry U.S. health business.
