BOSTON, April 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- At a meeting held on April 25, 2011, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Diversified Equity Income Fund (NYSE: ETY) and Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Diversified Equity Income Fund (NYSE: EXG) (the "Funds"), each a closed-end investment company, voted to hold the Annual Meetings of Shareholders of each Fund concurrently on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. (EDT). The meetings will be held at the principal office of the Funds, Two International Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02110. Proxy materials will be mailed on or about June 24, 2011 to shareholders of record on June 10, 2011. Shareholders of each Fund will be asked to vote on the election of two Class II Trustees of the Funds.
