Crye-Leike To Sell Kemmons Wilson Condos

Two Memphis companies are teaming up to market condominiums aimed at aging baby boomers.

Kemmons Wilson Cos. has hired Crye-Leike Inc. as the listing agent for three of its Memphis-area condo communities: The Oaks at Woodchase in Cordova; The Oaks at Parkview in Olive Branch, Miss.; and The Village at Schilling in Collierville.

Sales prices for The Oaks at Woodchase and The Oaks at Parkview condos start at about $150,000. The Schilling Farms condos start in the $220,000 range.

Kemmons Wilson Communities, a division of the Memphis-based diversified holding company, has developed a total of eight communities targeting "active empty nesters." Five of the communities are in the Memphis area and three are in the Denver suburbs.

The Oaks at Woodchase was completed in 2007, on the cusp of the housing meltdown. Kemmons Wilson launched The Village at Schilling in 2008.

Crye-Leike’s Cordova managing broker Hank Hogue will be the sales coordinator in the new partnership.
