April 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Trans Energy, Inc. (OTC BB: TENG) announced today that it turned the Groves #1H horizontal Marcellus well in
Marshall County, West Virginia into a sales line on
Thursday, April 14.
The Groves #1H was completed with a 15 stage hydraulic fracture stimulation and is the Company's longest lateral to date of 5,500 feet.
John G. Corp, President of Trans Energy, said, "We were able to turn the Groves #1H into a sales line ahead of schedule. We continue to be pleased with the results of our recently completed wells. We continue to develop our acreage position in the Marcellus shale and look forward to starting our 2011 drilling program."
