NCR Wins U.S. Postal Service 2010 Supplier Performance Award

NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) today announced it has been selected as the winner of a 2010 United States Postal Service (USPS) Supplier Performance Award in recognition of its important role in helping the USPS improve supply chain management and provide the American public with a better experience and new services in thousands of post offices across the United States. The award was presented at the 2010 Supplier Performance Awards Ceremony and Reception at the USPS Headquarters Building in Washington, DC.

USPS awards recognize companies that have distinguished themselves among their peers by providing best practices in supply chain management. Companies are nominated by postal professionals and NCR was one of only thirteen companies across the USPS base of tens of thousands of suppliers that received an award for its performance during 2010.

NCR supplies USPS with a range of technology and proactive services including postal counter hardware and software, system integration, help desk and maintenance services, which are designed to enable faster customer transactions while supporting efficient expansion of revenue-generating financial and retail services.
