Beazley Deepens Resources Of Technology, Media & Business Services Team With New Appointment

NEW YORK, April 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Beazley Group, a leading insurer of data breach risks, announced today that Alex Ricardo, formerly at Kroll Incorporated, has joined the insurance company's Technology, Media & Business Services (TMB) professional liability group as privacy breach response manager. He will be based in New York, reporting to Mike Donovan, head of the TMB focus group.

Mr Ricardo will direct the provision of breach response services for Beazley insureds when data breaches occur, including assisting with crisis management activities.  He will also support marketing and product development for the company's flagship data breach insurance policy, Beazley Breach Response, and Beazley's other information security products.

Previously, Mr Ricardo managed a data breach services team at Kroll. He was responsible for sales management and performance and served as the group's subject matter expert for breach preparedness, breach response and identity management solutions and services.  Mr Ricardo is a frequent speaker and quoted expert on breach response and data privacy issues.
