Air France 447, India Earthquake: Hot Trends
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- "Air France 447" is a heavily searched topic following news that bodies of victims of a 2009 crash in the Atlantic Ocean were found in the wreckage of the plane.
Nearly two years after the Air France 447 crash that killed 228 people, investigators are believed to have finally found the remains of the wreckage, CNN reported.
"We have bodies ... there are bodies that are still in the parts that have been found," Ecology Minister Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet said on Radio France Monday.
Air France flight 447 went down in the Atlantic after taking off from Rio de Janeiro on its way to Paris. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
"India earthquake" is a trending search topic after a magnitude 5.4 quake with an epicenter in Nepal shook parts of north India on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake took place at 5:01 p.m. local time and occurred less than 8 miles below the earth's surface. Tremors were felt in India's capital, Delhi, and its suburbs on Monday evening. There currently are no reports of any damage.
