(NYSE: SRT) a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) services provider announced it has been certified as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) as a Level 1 service provider by Coalfire Systems, Inc. Coalfire Systems is a leader in the IT Governance and Compliance Management Industry.

Coalfire Systems, Inc. conducted testing of StarTek’s control around their consumer union customer support program in accordance with the Level 1 Service Provider Audit Procedures to validate compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard. Testing of the 12 requirements was completed and all requirements were validated and certified to be operating in full compliance with the PCI Data Security standards.
