Great Southern Bancorp, Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend Of $.18 Per Common Share

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., March 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Great Southern Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: GSBC), the holding company for Great Southern Bank, declared a $.18 per common share dividend for the first quarter of the calendar year ending December 31, 2011.  

The dividend will be payable on April 13, 2011, to shareholders of record on March 31, 2011.  This dividend represents the 85th consecutive dividend paid by the Company to common shareholders.

With total assets of $3.4 billion, Great Southern offers banking, investment, insurance and travel services. Headquartered in Springfield, Mo., Great Southern operates 75 retail banking centers and more than 200 ATMs in Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska.
