BETHESDA, Md., March 3, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EagleBank is proud to announce the addition of Lynda Ellis to its District of Columbia Advisory Board. This Advisory Board represents the Bank in the D.C. metro market, and its members act as liaisons between the Bank and the community.
Ellis is the President, CEO and Owner of Washington D.C.-based Capitol Concierge. Under her leadership, the Capitol Concierge brand has become synonymous with best-in-class service and top-notch professionalism; the company has earned a solid reputation for being responsive, paying attention, and doing the right thing. Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Ellis developed a passion for customer service at an early age. After graduating from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX, Lynda spent over 25 years in Instructional Technology, selling and marketing computer-based education and training products to Pre-K through post secondary education programs, correctional facilities and Welfare to Work programs, and earning numerous awards for her performance and leadership. In 1998 she joined Capitol Concierge, where she progressed quickly, eventually purchasing the company in 2007. Guiding the enterprise with her passion for service, trademark enthusiasm, and commitment to responsible corporate citizenship, it is no wonder that Ellis was honored with Washington SmartCEO's "Brava! Women Business Achievement Award" in 2009, AOBA's "Outstanding Leadership Award" for three consecutive years, as well as the Apartment & Office Building Association (AOBA)'s "Associates Coalition Team (ACT) Associate of the Year" Award in 2007.
"We are extremely fortunate to have such a talented individual join our District of Columbia Advisory Board. We look forward to working with Lynda and taking advantage of her skills and knowledge," said EagleBank President of Community Banking, Thomas D. Murphy. "As respected business leaders in our community, we are grateful for the commitment and support of all of our advisory board members in promoting EagleBank's growth and presence in the greater Washington Metropolitan area. They are all a great asset as representatives of our Bank's ongoing commitment to community banking."
